How to Adapt the Assessment Method in DL
Method
1. KWL Assessment
In this assessment, the learner will be engaged to
various kinds of pre-game interactive activities
which aims to measure what the students know,
what students want to know, and what they learned
depending on the context of the lesson. This is an
assessment as to the level of knowledge of the
learners to the subject matter at hand. This activity
is meant specifically to gauge prior related
knowledge.

2. Teacher-Made In this assessment, the teacher will make a video

and problem solving approaches to test the
student's understanding. These are tasks that are
designed to showcase your skills and knowledge

Games In this assessment, the teacher will provide

interactive computer aided games. These are follow-
up activities that are intended for you to practice
further in order to master the competencies. The

to actively focus, create an exciting learning
experience, develop a variety of connections with
the content and can form positive memories of
learning.

4. Mock Interview
In this assessment, the teacher will conduct a
surprise interview to the students asking some
questions related to the topic discussed. This
activity will be given right after the discussion to
assess and monitor the learning and progress of the
students. This will be carried out through voice call
in order for all the students to be given an
opportunity to share what they learned with their
teacher. Further, this strategy allows the students to
express their ideas, feelings and concepts about the
discussion which will serve as a guide of the
teachers to formulate an appropriate and effective
plan for the next lesson.
5. Portfolio Making
In this assessment, the learners will be instructed to
compile all their outputs per learning area. Every
learner should have to submit a learning output
portfolio wherein learner’s reflection is attached to it
for the teacher to determine an authentic response
towards what the pupils learned. In assessing the
portfolio of every learner, the teacher should use
rubrics to further assess and evaluate learner’s
understanding on the lessons given.

6. Journal Reflection
Assessment In this assessment, the learners will be required to
submit a journal reflection in every lesson given to
them. Learners’ reflection will be submitted to their
teachers. Rubrics will be used to evaluate learners’
journal reflections.
