Madam:
Greetings of Peace!

This is to inform your good office that Don Julio Leviste Memorial National High
School, located at BLISS San Andres, Malvar, Batangas has decided to implement
shorten period of classes due to extreme heat. This measure will ensure the safety
and well-being of our students and faculty staff in schools, as extreme heat poses
health risks such as nausea, vomiting, nose bleeding, dehydration, heat
exhaustion, and heat stroke.

We proposed that starting April 4,2024 until the weather becomes stable, classes
will be held from 7:00 am- 12:00 pm and all in-person classes and activities in the
afternoon will be suspended. Our school may adjust the schedules by reducing the
length of classes and implementing early dismissal. Additionally, the schools may
take ample measures such as providing hydration stations inside and outside of
the classrooms, allowing students to wear lighter clothing, and utilizing maximum
number of fans inside the classrooms.

Shortening class periods during extreme heat is a proactive approach to minimize

the risk of heat-related illnesses and ensure that the learning environment remains
safe and conducive to our students. We will inform all our Parents, PTA Officers,
Students and other Stakeholders regarding this proposed change.

Thank you for your utmost understanding and consideration during this
challenging time. Let us work together to ensure the safety and well-being of our
school learners, and staff.

Sincerely Yours.
BERNADETTE R. LLANES
Teacher-in-Charge
