ABSTRACT

The process of making slipper which includes the process of cutting the
slippers, punching holes and installing flip clips in small industries so far requires
a relatively long time, because the three processes are carried out by a separate
machine. The relatively long process of making sandals indirectly affects
production capacity, therefore to increase production it is necessary to innovate
from the tool. The method of the design of the sandal bottom cutting machine is a
field survey, collecting literature, calculating the data and the design of working
drawings. The results of the cutting machine design are where the three processes
include cutting the slipper mat, pinch punching and installation of the flip clips
made in one machine, with overall dimensions are 1000 x 680 x 880 mm. Making
this tool costs Rp. 5,791,466, - while the selling price of the equipment is Rp.
6,434,962,-. When the engine is leased, it is obtained (BEP) of Rp. 19,431,683, -
which can be achieved in 110 days.
