Vitor - Hey, Érika. How are you? We haven’t done Leandro’s jobs. We gotta do
this, it’s our last assessment.
Érika - Hi! I was doing well till you say that. What can we do? The deadline’s
tomorrow!
Vitor - Don’t worry! We just have to create a creative dialogue about anything we
want, but we can’t forget about the topics we’ve studied this semester, we have
to use them on the dialogue!
Érika - Alright! Do you remember about the topics?
Vitor - Let me see. We have sports that’s about play volleyball, football, go
swimming, go ice-skating etc.
Vitor - Yes!!! We also have the parts of the body that include our head, hands,
arms, legs, eyes, mouth… Speaking of mouth, we’ve studied foods! We can talk
about dinner, lunch and breakfast… and what we usually or never eat. Humm! I
think I’ll like to create this dialogue. I’m excited about that.
Érika - Vitor, we can talk about our birthdays in the dialogue. My birthday’s on
October 02th 1998, what about yours?
Vitor - My birthday is on December 22th 1998, do you know it’s Leandro’s
birthday too?
Érika - Really? I didn’t know that, you two are Capricorn.
Vitor - Yes, we are, but I don’t believe it, it’s all crap.
Érika - Whatever, let’s go back to the topics of our dialogue.
Vitor - I think we’re done. I wanna take a nap, I’m tired!
Érika - No! We need to think about others topics. Directions!! It’s about street,
avenue, block, corner, how to go from a place x to y. We can use these words:
behind, beside, turn, go, left or right etc.
Vitor - Don’t forget about the jobs! We need to describe a job, for example, what
a cashier does, where he can work, if he stands all day and if it’s a boring job.
Érika - Don’t worry about that, I can do this part of the job.
Vitor - I think we’re almost done, aren’t we?
Érika - I don’t think so… we’ve studied a lot this semester.
Vitor - You’re right. Where’s your book?
Érika - I haven’t got the book here.
Vitor - Shame on you, girl.
Érika - I’m sure the dialogue will be good, we have a lot of topics. Let’s write it. I
write it in Portuguese and you will translate it to English. Deal?
