Management Information System - (MIS)

Reporting the MIS Information for Financial & Cost numbers.

Preparation of Monthly presentation of KPI’s and presenting to the Management.
Presenting the Plant P & L.
Reporting the KIC and their control function wise.
Presenting the Cost movements for different products.
Performing regular meeting with Respective Depts. and the Plant Management on how the product
costing is moving & action plans to reach the target cost.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Preparation of Revenue and Cost Budgets like Sales Budget, Cash Budget, Expenses Budget.
Forecasting the Headcount how much we need for the volumes considering the Industrial Efficiency
factor.
Forecasting the Standard COGS.
Forecasting the volumes market wise with customer wise from SCM team.
Forecasting all the Variable & Fixed cost with productivity maintained.
Forecasting the product wise cost at the end of the year where we will be.
Costing & Variances Analysis – Cost Concepts
Costing all the references in SAP quarterly.
Cost Reports for the star references which impacts the 80% of sales.
BOM reference level analysis on raw material cost movement.
Analyzing the Labor & others (DVC & MBC) Hrly movement on worked hrs spent.
Tracking of all the Negotiation, QVE & Localization productivity which impacts the cost of the
product.
Targeting on the Industrial Efficiency (IE %) to reduce the cost.
Analyzing the consumable parts and tracking them regularly.
Performing Comprehensive Variance Analysis & Determine root – cause for each significant variances
Examine Standard Costs against Actual to identify process inefficiencies, Improvements,
opportunities and low cost profit products.
Benchmarking the Product Costing with other plants.
Taking measures to reach the targeted cost.
Freight Cost tracking Air/Sea which impacts the cost.

Inventory:
Tracking Daily Reports – COGS, Inventory etc., to trigger the management where are we at.
Tracking on the consumption report against the production.
Analyzing the Inventory Reports and to minimize the Unhealthy Stock (Excess & Shortage).
Performing Inventory Cycle Count Analysis and targeting to minimize the Gross & Net Variances.
Doing to Code to Code & Cycle count Adjustment to reduce the stock variances.
Handling the Stock Take.

Asset Management:
Business Case Study on Capital Expenditure and measuring the productivity.
Analyzing all Capex (Investment Requisition) expenditure and arriving at the Payback period and
uploading in the tool for the approval from the management.
Tracking of all the assets through Fixed Asset Register and there movement.
Depreciation calculation and impact analysis.
Validating the cost savings and impact on the investment.

FI & CO Closing:
GL scrutiny and analyzing month on month what is the expenditure incurred and movement.
Provision booking on an accurate basis.
Tracking all the expenditure with the Quarterly budgeted figure.
Monthly CO Closing in SAP, Settlement of Variance ,Production, Internal Orders, Settlements &
distribution cycles.
Analyzing the YMFC, VFX3 & VF04 Errors, clearing them and actions not to repeat them.

Internal Control & Auditing:

Monthly tracking on the KIC reports.
IT SOD conflicts analysis – t-code wise.
Tracking on all the process weather its inline with the Global policy.
Finding out the areas of improvements and pain areas.
Assisting them on providing the required information to the auditors.
Closing all the open action points on time.
Transfer Price & Tax:
Collection of Transfer Prices IN at part level from other entities.
Calculation the Transfer price OUT for all the Export FG’s.
Calculation of Labor Hrly Rate & Fixed Cost Rate on actual incurred.
Updating all the TP in SAP with preferred vendor.
Costing of all the references in SAP and realizing them.
Preparation of Cost sheets for star references and analyzing.
Bottom-up calculations for the planned year along with the next 2 years forecast.
Following the TP rules and the Tax rules for computation the TP OUT.
Analyzing the data and providing the right information on the Advance License Benefit.
Tracking the Duty Drawback benefit monthly.
Tracking the ED & Service Tax recovery from the Govt. Department.
