References Form Groups according to the GW sheet as decide by the institute. Choose one brand
which has vanished from the market place. The brand chosen should be ideally Indian.
Reference could be taken from Marketing and Advertising Journals, Economic Times
and Internet.
Objectives To study the life cycle of a chosen brand, right from its origin up to the point where it
became obsolete. Find and analyze the reasons for the brand’s failure with respect
to the following: Organizational competence, financial competence, brand
promotion activities, market situation, competition, other brands, possible reasons
for failure. The group work would end with hypothetically possible suggestions which
could uplift the brand and save it from becoming obsolete.
