Only know you love her when you let

Let Her Go her go

Passenger Only know you've been high when
Well you only need the light when it's you're feeling low
burning low Only hate the road when you're
Only miss the sun when it starts to missing home
snow Only know you love her when you let
Only know you love her when you let her go
her go And you let her go
Only know you've been high when Oh oh oh no
you're feeling low And you let her go
Only hate the road when you're Oh oh oh no
missing home And you let her go
Only know you love her when you let Well, you only need the light when it's
her go burning low
And you let her go Only miss the sun when it starts to
Staring at the bottom of your glass snow
Hoping one day you'll make a dream Only know you love her when you let
last her go
But dreams come slow and they go so Only know you've been high when
fast you're feeling low
You see her when you close your eyes Only hate the road when you're
Maybe one day you'll understand why missing home
Everything you touch surely dies Only know you love her when you let
her go
'Cause you only need the light when
it's burning low 'Cause you only need the light when
Only miss the sun when it starts to it's burning low
snow Only miss the sun when it starts to
Only know you love her when you let snow
her go Only know you love her when you let
Only know you've been high when her go
you're feeling low Only know you've been high when
Only hate the road when you're you're feeling low
missing home Only hate the road when you're
Only know you love her when you let missing home
her go Only know you love her when you let
her go
Staring at the ceiling in the dark And you let her go
Same old empty feeling in your heart
Love comes slow and it goes so fast
Well you see her when you fall asleep
But never to touch and never to keep
'Cause you loved her too much and
you dive too deep
'Cause you only need the light when
it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to
snow
THE LIVING PHOTOGRAPH - Summary of Poem

Stanza 1
The grandchild looks in the photograph and she saw that her
grandmother looks tall though she is supposed to be small.
She saw her grandmother who is still youthful and healthy and
has an upright back. In the photograph, her grandmother is
wearing a white embroidered shirt with a pleated skirt and flat
shoes. It shows that her grandmother is an over age lady.
The grandmother is really kind and loving person.
The line ‘ Her big hand holds mine, white hand in black hand’
means that the writer and her grandmother come from different
races. Which means that the grandmother is an American and
the grandchild is an African- American.
The persona’s grandmother was a very brave person because she
was not afraid of death

Stanza 2
The grandchild realized something. All that she can see is that her
grandmother began aging and develops a hunched back. She had
become forgetful, senile, and sign of dementia. The
grandmother passed away. The grandmother went somewhere
grandmothers go and it is unimaginable.

Stanza 3
Although the grandmother has passed away, but the grandchild
can still feel the presence of her grandmother. She can feel that
her grandmother is living in her heart. Smiling widely in the
picture when she was three years old. It treasures her because it
was an unforgettable memory of the way her grandmother
smiles before she became old and senile.
