Registration Information

Calendar: The Summer Group Guitar Class is a 4-week class,

Mondays from July 11th-August 1st.

Refunds for Ensemble or Group Guitar classes: NHISOM will

refund tuition payment for ensemble or group guitar classes is after
attending the first and second meetings of the group the participant
notifies NHISOM in writing of his/her wish to withdraw from
further participation. No other refunds are given.

How to register: Fill out the Registration Form and check all the
classes you wish to sign up for. Note that Group Guitar has two Summer Program
different locations and several different time slots available for your
convenience – please choose accordingly. 2016

 Group Guitar
Group Guitar Lessons (SCC, Center Sandwich)
Where: Sandwich Children’s Center
170 Main Street, Plymouth
When: Mondays, 3:30-4pm, 4-4:30pm
Starts: July , 2016; meets for 6 sessions
Conducted by Jeremy Morse
This extremely popular class is for anyone aged 7-13 that want to
learn guitar in a group setting. Classes are limited to 3 students.
In this class, students learn the fundamentals of playing guitar in a
fun and nurturing environment. Students learn to read music
notation, tablature, develop good right and left hand technique,
learn basic chords and songs. Mr. Morse has been teaching this
class in the Lakes Region area for over 8 years.
If there are less than 2 students per class, NHISOM reserves the
right to combine classes to meet minimum class size requirement.
Requirements:
• Group Guitar is for absolute beginners.
• Students will need to provide their own guitars for this class; an
extra set of strings is also recommended. The School has several
rental guitars if you need one. Rental guitars are $15 for the
entire semester and can be reserved by emailing Noelle Beaudin
at info@nhisom.org or calling NHISOM at 284-6550.

Tuition
Group Guitar is a 4-week semester for the Summer program.
• Four 30-minute group lessons: $40.


How to register: To register for group lessons please fill out the
registration form in this brochure and mail it back to NHISOM with
the proper payment.


Payment: Tuition is payable in full upon registration. Personal
check, money order, or cash are accepted. Checks should be made
out to the Sandwich Children’s Center.
Withdrawal - There are no refunds if you decide to withdraw from
this program.
Instructor - Jeremy Morse
Jeremy is a music technology graduate of Plymouth State University
and Director of Music at The Tilton School and Director of Guitar
and Acoustic music at the Lake Winni Music Camp. Originally from
Pittsfield, New Hampshire, Jeremy picked up the guitar at an early
age. Inspired by the Beatles and Neil Young, eventually Jeremy
expanded his playing into blue and roots music, Afro-Cuban and
other Latin styles, and jazz. Throughout his teenage years Jeremy
studied with Joe Gattuso at Strings and Things music in Concord,
David Tonkin at Concord Community Music School, and later
David Rodenburg at NHTI. Jeremy currently studies with Jim Alba
at Plymouth State University. Jeremy currently performs with the
Lakes Region Big Band as well as various jazz and blues projects on
the side.
