YES KOREA IS...

YES [Youth Exchange Service] Korea is a cross-border program for all of youth in Asia Pacific region.
This program covers language introduction, education exchange, and some cultural events which will
bridge you deeply more about Korea. This program is dedicated to the youth who have an
international exchange interest, open minded personnel, as well as sensitive to social and world
issues. This is a program that will grant you a real experience to learn and challenge the world. Korea,
a unique traditional ancestor who created a magnificent modern country. Your will be amazed by its
quality of education, culture and monumental sites which are worth visit. Hereby we call all the youth
in Asia to participate in YES Korea.

THE AIMS OF THE PROGRAM ARE...


a) Feel the atmosphere of living in Korea
b) Learn local culture and social direct contact
c) Experience an international friendship and solidarity
d) Exchange knowledge and ideas among Asians youngsters
e) Learn local language
f) Enjoy traveling in Korea

WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE…

--- A cultural events


Participants will be given the opportunity to have hands-on experience in learning an uplifting Korean
culture, for example: culture of Chuseok [thanks giving Korea] knowing and wearing a Hanbok
[traditional costumes], Making a Korean dish.

--- An education exchange


Participants will be given an elaboration of the existing education system in Korea, a visit to one of
university in Korea, and an open discussion with Korean students. In addition, each participant will
have a chance to present their own education system.

--- A language introduction


Korean language became one of the most popular languages in the world. Participants will be given a
basic lesson for beginner to learn the Korean language. The lesson will start with an introduction to
basic Korean letters called Hangeul.

ELIGIBILITYTY OF APPLICANT...

1. Committed to pay participation fee


2. Must be 18 – 27 years of age by the application deadline
3. Asian citizen and interested in Korea and its culture
4. Good health (mentally and physically)
5. Korean language ability would be an additional remark
6. Open minded

2. Return the application form via email to: ciptabangsafoundation@gmail.com along with ID
copy [KTP, KK or passport for Indonesian] passport only [for non-Indonesian]
3. Online interview will be informed by Cipta Bangsa Foundation
4. Announcement for successful participants notified via email and webpage

APPLICATION DEADLINE…

Application MUST be received no later than 8th May 2016 at 16.00 [Jakarta time]

CERTIFICATION...

Organizer will only grant a certificate of completion for participants who completed the project from
the beginning till the end of the program

Gyongbokgung Palace Gyeongbok Palace is a palace located in
northern Seoul (Gangbuk), South Korea. The
Palace is included on the five major palaces
and is the largest built by the Joseon
Dynasty.

Cheonggyecheon Stream Cheonggyecheon is a stream which is


located in downtown Seoul, South Korea.
This is an important part of the history of
the city of Seoul. In the 1950s, this stream
symbolized the poverty experienced by the
people of Seoul and in the next decade
(1960s - 1970s) witnessed the success of the
industrialization and modernization of
South Korea.

Hanok Village Namsangol Hanok Village yang juga dikenal


sebagai ‘Sebuah Desa Rumah Tradisional di
Bukit Namsan’, adalah sebuah desa Korea
yang terletak di daerah lingkungan Pil-dong
di Jung-gu, pusat distrik Seoul

Dongdaemun Dongdaemun Market or Dongdaemun


Sijang ( 동대문 시장 ) market is located in
the district of Dongdaemun, Seoul, South
Korea. Dongdaemun market lies next to the
Great East Gate and has been known as the
most popular retail markets , especially for
garment products

Namsan Tower N Seoul Tower is a tower built in 1969 and


located in Namsan Mountain, near the
center of Seoul, South Korea. The tower was
built at a cost of $ 2.5 million and opened to
the public in 1980. N Seoul Tower has
become a symbol of Seoul.

Han gang River Han River flows through Seoul and joins the
Imjin River before it empties into the Yellow
Sea. In addition, there are several bridges
cross the river of Han. One of them most
tourists favourite spot is Banpo Bridge
because of the waterfall rainbow
BOARD AND LODGING...

During the program all participants will be accommodated in a guesthouse. Participant will stay for 4
– 6 people each room. Man and women will have separated room. Meals will be provided 3 times a
day based on local cuisines. Breakfast will be available in the guesthouse, lunch and dinner will be
organized in or out the guest house.

Special request for HALAL or VEGETARIAN food will be accommodated by early agreement between
participants and organizer.

PARTICIPATION FEE…

In order to provide good quality program placement & standard all participants are required to
contribute amount of money as the following:

This costs include:


- Pick up service in the meeting point
- Korean language class
- Board and lodging during the program
- Meals 3x per day
- Local transportation on schedule
- Program of education, culture and traveling
- Admission ticket for tourism site
- Coordinating fee for Cipta Bangsa Foundation
- Program management
- Local organizer support

This fee does NOT include:


- Visa cost [for Indonesian]
- Travel insurance
- Flight from and to meeting point
- Airport drop off in the end of the program
- Passport
- Personal medication and expenses

PAYMENT PROCEDURES ARE...

1. Successful candidate is required to deposit 40% [3.340.000 IDR or 232 Euro] of the total
amount participation fee 7 days after final announcement. No payment within this period
Cipta Bangsa will automatically remove her/his name from project name list and replace with
waiting list candidate.
2. Final payment [5.010.000 IDR or 348 Euro] MUST be completed no later than 30 days prior
the project via bank transfer.

REFUND PROCESS WILL BE…

1. Cancellation request must be clearly stated with an official email


2. Cancellation request after first payment [deposit] will be charged 1.500.000 IDR or 100 Euro
and bank transfer fee
3. Cancellation request after final payment [30 days] prior the project will be charged 3.000.000
IDR or 200 Euro and bank fee transfer
4. Cancellation request within 10 days prior the project will be charge 50% of the total
participation fee [4.175.000 IDR or 290 Euro]
5. Cancellation fee later than 10 days prior the project or NO SHOW participant NO REFUND will
be provided [due to booking expenses such board and lodging, local transport and meals]

Cipta Bangsa Foundation
Yayasan Cipta Bangsa [Cipta Bangsa Foundation] is an NGO working on education and adult path. Our
Foundation was officially registered in Ministry of Law and Human Right Republic of Indonesia. Our
Foundation organizes several programs both national and international level. In Indonesia we organize
formal and non-formal education. Besides, we also organizes inter-culture program called YES [Youth
Exchange Service] and ICE [Inter-Culture Exchange] Program. Those program are designed for youth
