Merit list for B.Ed.

applicants (2019-21)
On the basis of on-line submission of application and counselling the University shall prepare a merit list without
verification of the accuracy and authenticity of the data submitted by the applicants. The rank of the merit list
may change due to any inaccuracy / insufficiency and lack of authenticity of the data entered. Applicants shall
remain responsible for the inaccuracy / insufficiency and lack of authenticity of the data entered and the
candidature may be refused at any stage of admission and even during the continuation of the programme.
Instruction for getting the Merit List
For the colleges
 Click on “B.Ed. Admission Merit list” on the home page.
 Click on “For college data entry”.
 Click on “Preference wise Student List”.
 Enter basic data on preference of Colleges and submit.
 You will get the names of the applicants in order merit.
 For example, 1 to 15 are Bengali student (in order of merit), 16 to 20 Education student (in order of merit)
and 21 to 25 (deputed candidates in order of merit).
 You may offer admission strictly in order of merit during 27 to 29 June 2019.
 Seats for deputed candidates lying vacant may be offered to fresher candidates. Twenty percent seat of
each subject are meant for deputed candidate. No other reservation is applicable for self-financed colleges.
 No admission should be done after 29 June 2019, unless notified again to do so.
 Immediately after the admission go to the portal and enter the details of the candidates admitted.
Candidates whose details are not entered in the portal will not be offered registration. However,
mere inclusion in the portal shall not ensure registration. A candidate’s submission has to be
satisfactory in all respect including authenticity of certificate having minimum eligibility criteria
and valid application ID.
 Admission will be offered by the respective College / department after verification of the accuracy /
sufficiency and authenticity of the data entered based upon the panel sent by the University.
 Please note very carefully that as per letter F.No. DEB/QMC/2013 dated 23.08.2013, issued by the
University Grants Commission (UGC), Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110002, a University
established or incorporated by or under a State Act shall operate Open and Distance Learning Programme
only within the territorial jurisdiction allotted to it under its Act and in no case beyond the territory of the
State of its location.

For the Students

 Click on “B.Ed. Admission Merit list” on the home page.


 Click on “For B.Ed. Applicant”.
 Click on “Merit List preference/ Subject wise”.
 Choose ‘Subject’, Application type (deputed/ fresher), district, college name and submit.
 Get your status and report to the college as early as possible (on or before 29 June, 2019) with original
certificates, application printout and payment for application proof.
 Maximum programme fee Rs. 75,000.00 per year (for self- financed college).
 Classes will be started on 01 July 2019.
 Ensuring the Authenticity of the certificates is the sole responsibility of the candidates.
