Series 406NRSRW Non-Rising Stem, Resilient Wedge, Flanged Gate Valves are available in sizes 2" 12" (50 300mm). The valve is epoxy coated cast iron and is operated by a handwheel or an operating nut and valve key. The resilient wedge disc design offers both positive seating and resistance against high differential pressure. Series 406NRSRW is best suited for service in either the fully open or closed position. It is also recommended for use as a throttling valve. This series recommended for potable water, water distribution service and feed lines, and sewage disposal facilities.

Standards
Face-to-face dimensions of the valves comply with the American Standard for face-to-face dimensions (ANSI B16.10) for Class 125 cast iron flanged valves. End Flanges: The dimensions and drilling of end flanges conform to the American cast iron flange standard, Class 125 (ANSI B16.1). The flanges are flat faced and smooth finished.

Specifications
Valve shall be manufactured out of ASTM A126 Class B iron and comply with MSS-SP-70. Valve shall be pressure rated to 200psi (14 bars) CWP and have flanged ends. Valve shall have a nonrising stem, full port flow, replaceable disc and epoxy coating. Valve shall be a Watts Regulator Company Series 406NRSRW.
