I set a goal for myself to cut some of the fatty foods I ate out, due to how much of my

diet they were taking up, and how it could be negatively affecting my health. The fatty foods I

cut included ground beef and fried chicken, due to how they accounted for a large portion of the

food I ate, I ended up being more diverse in my food choice, eating more soups for dinner that

came with a higher amount of carbs and proteins. The change cut out somethings I wouldn’t

expect and made me much more aware of what was in the food I was eating and drove me to

think about my daily activities as well, such as my habits of exercise and when I ate as well. The

ideals of when I ate were interesting due to how they changed along with what I ate.

The goal I set for myself also led to another interesting development, it kept me at or

below my daily calorie limit much easier. My conclusion based upon this discovery was that

fattier foods will sometimes come along with higher calories. So, I plan to continue staying away

from these extremely fatty foods that could be detrimental to my diet. The whole experience

allowed for me to see that the consumption of certain foods in conjugation with one another can

be immensely helpful, where as another group of foods can be terribly detrimental to one’s body.

The entirety of what I learned is that, what we eat is important, or else the body can’t do it’s job

properly.
