FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Women’s Way Paved Takes on The High Museum of Art

(Atlanta, GA) Women’s Way Paved will be hosting its first annual art auction fundraiser
on September 15th, 2019. The fundraiser will assist in ramping up funds for the purchase of new
vehicles so the organization can expand its reach throughout the metropolitan area.
Women’s Way Paved’s auction will feature only art curated by women and all art will be
appraised for their value and authenticity before the auction commences. Some of the artists
featured include Marie Anne Decollte, Elizabeth Prudent, and Adhira Agarwal. Many of their
most coveted pieces will be on display for purchase during the auction. Despite the focus on
female artists, the auction itself will be open to the public. The $250 tickets include access to the
gallery before the auction begins, a seat in the auction, and light refreshments. Tickets will be
available for spectators as well closer to the date of the auction.
Women’s Way Paved currently services Camp Creek, South East Atlanta, South West
Atlanta, Austell, and Smyrna. However, the demand has been much greater than just the
populations in those four areas. With the purchase of new vehicles, the organization would be
able to expand into new areas of Atlanta such as Bankhead, Edgewood, and Washington Park.
Women’s Way Paved would also have the ability to employ more women as well during the
expansion. The organization will seek to employ 450 new women and open 2 new hub locations
by Summer of 2022.
Women’s Way Paved is a non-profit ride sharing service that provides underprivileged
women with free or low cost rides to their destinations. The organization was established in 2018
and is headquartered in the heart of Atlanta. It currently services and employs only women for
the sake of providing a safe space and ease of mind to its patrons. Most recently, Andrea Carter,
the founder of Women’s Way Paved, won the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The
organization would not be possible without supporters like you.
