Theater Room

As of 10:00 am today, the theater room has been inspected and checked out. Most
of the clutter have been removed. The lights are working. The air conditioning units are
functional. There was some puddle on the floor. The source of water/puddle could have
been from a window left opened, or a leak somewhere. This will have to be inspected
further before conclusion.

For suggestions:

During INSET and discussion of PAASCU recommendations, it was suggested

that chairs be designated/placed exclusively for theater room use. If possible and granted,
this would allow efficient functionality of the room which could be used by students. it
would also discontinue requisition of maintenance personnel to transport/move the chairs
from the gym to the theater room, thus, giving them more time to take care of other
campus concerns.

It is also suggested that the theater would have a rostrum and a fixed functional
sound system. The theater room would be a perfect place to train public speaking
potentials, whether part of subject activity or for competition. Having a fixed installation of
sound system in the theater room, instead of moving the equipment every time the need
arises, would prolong the life of the equipment and would mean savings for the school.
