Script For College Graduation
The NDC- TFI Commencement Exercises are about to begin. We expect the
Commencement Exercises to last approximately ___ hours so before we begin this
ceremony, let me remind you to turn your cellphones to silent mode and be courteous
around you by refraining from talking aloud. During the presentation of graduates, we
encourage you to express your pride by applauding and cheering. Thank you.
I. INTRODUCTION
Mina: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Graduation day is always a day
of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and
the commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s
quest for a better life and future. Truly, today signifies the culmination of many years of
hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge: knowledge that will enable a person to
embrace opportunities and take on challenges with clear vision and purpose.

Foundation, Incorporated.
II. PROCESSIONAL
Mina: Bearing the seal of the school, let us welcome Ma’am Rhoda R, Taglos, RN,
MAN, the school registrar
Mina: God Almighty, we offer you this momentous occasion. Truly, we rejoice because
you have made this event possible through your grace, compassion and love. May we
hear the doxology to be followed by the singing of the national anthem and NDC hymn
with the La-a trio leading.
V. SPECIAL MUSIC
Mina: Thank you, Miss Fe for that heart-warming speech. Now, let our hearts be filled
with the harmonious sound of gratefulness and success. Let us hear a special music to
be given to us by Dharixblue Villamor.
Mina: Thank you Sir Dharixblue for a song that twins our today’s celebration. At this
juncture, may I call on Dr. Jeremias A. Valleramos, School administrator, to introduce
our guest speaker.
Mina: Thank you, Sir Melvin Paul. That was indeed moving and inspirational. May I
request you though to stay put as we will proceed with handling out the certificate of
appreciation for your time and service dedicated to NDC-TFI. And for that may I call on
_________________ to award the said certificate.
VIII. IMPOSITION OF HOODS TO THE GRADUATES
Mina: Again. Thank you, Sir Melvin Paul. Now, to identifyy the field of study our
candidates have finished, may I request the parents of our candidates to please
accompany and assist your sons or daughters in the imposition of hoods as they are
called
CALLING OF NAMES
Mina: Congratulations candidates and parents. Truly, joy and excitement are all written
on your faces as you pin your hoods. At this point, may I call on Dr. Ludina M. Oballo,
Program head of the Education Program to present the candidates for graduation to
Anita B. Somoso, our School President.
Mina: Let us also welcome, Ma’am Evelyn K. Dismas, MBA, the BSBA Program head to
present the candidates for graduation.
Mina: For the Midwifery Program, let us have Program head, Ma’am Jennifer B.
Andamon, RM, RN.
Mina: Now that the candidates are presented, let us welcome our school president, Dr.
Anita B. Somoso, for the acceptance and conferring of degrees.
Mina: Dear graduates, the moment you have been waiting for has finally come. The fruit
of hardwork and discipline will finally be reaped. You will now be receiving your prized
diploma, a symbol of accomplishment. May I request The Program Heads, Dr. Ludina
Oballo, Ma’am Evelyn Dismas, and Ma’am Jennifer Andamon, the School Administrator
Dr. Jeremias Valleramos, and our School President Dr. Anita B. Somoso, and of course
our guest speaker, Sir Melvin Paul, to personally congratulate our graduates and the
faculty and staff to assist in the distribution of diplomas.

Mina: It is said that the quality of a person’s life is in proportion to his or her
commitment to excellence regardless of the chosen field of endeavor. Ladies and
gentlemen, let us recognize the honor graduates and special awardees. And to
start with…
Mina: This class has so much to leave us that makes them memorable. One of
course is their class gift. And to present this gift, let us welcome Rolefe L.
Mahilom, the Senior Class Treasurer.
Mina: Thank you Mr. Rolefe for that wonderful present. However, this would not be
complete without the acceptance of your gift. Thus, let us all welcome our School
administration for his acceptance speech.
XIV. CLASS SONG
Mina: Thank you, Dr. Jeremias for ___________. Music is the expression of the soul. It
moves emotions and feels with the movement of time. Through a song that emphasizes
that the journey is more important than the destination. Let us hear the graduates sing
“Time of my Life”.
Mina: To express the sentiment of batch 2019, may I call on Ralph Lawrence A.
Gabato.
Mina: To lead the class in their pledge of loyalty, may I call on Kate P. Fernandez.
Mina: Graduation also marks the graduates’ enlistment to the NDC- TFI Alumni
Association. To officiate the formal induction of Batch 2019’s inclusion to the Alumni
Association, may I call on, Mr. Stephen Dale Palle, LPT.
Mina: Without a doubt, you must have been so proud to be working for your Alma
Mater. Thank you, Sir Stephen.
Mina: The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities
await our graduates that will further test their mettle as improving individuals. As they
continue with their journey, may they look back to this stage in their life with
fondness and pride. Ladies and gentlemen, the graduates to sing “This is not
Goodbye”.
XIX. CLOSING PRAYER
Mina: Please rise for the closing prayer to be offered by Arven Bryce E. Orgel.
XX. RECESSIONAL
Mina: With the Recessional, March 2019 Commencement Rites of NDC- Tagum
Foundation Incorporated are hereby officially concluded.
The graduates are requested to stay to take pictures with our guests. You will be called
by program.
