The Bank has successfully transformed its functions according to its mission statement and vision. For example, they have advanced significantly in I.T.
and all the branches are online with more than 400 ATMs. Moreover, they are in the process of implementation of new core banking software namely T-
24 which will bring about revolutionary changes in their operations.
The National Banking of Pakistan, being a Government owned Bank focused on good governance in their mission statement, which is however a critical
area and warrants much improvement as yet.
The KESC has so far not been able to achieve the goals set in their mission statement for one reason or the other. They have to make sincere efforts to
convince the stakeholders, employees and society at large that the mission statement was prepared with the sincere intention.
