Technologies used to close the divide

The two ways digital divide can be closed are as follow:

It can be resolved by bridging the gap between the people with or without the
access to technology.

1.Access to internet
This can be done by providing internet or increasing the social media in the
underdeveloped communities or countries. Social media sites would help
individuals to know about the world’s news as people share information on the
social media sites (Suzuki, 2015). So, people will not find themselves left
behind and uninformed.

2.Securing up-to-date devices in schools

Schools should provide access to technology to students. And giving students
devices so that they can have access to the computer technology at home, too.
And providing proper materials in the classrooms, such as proper fiber
connections, wi-fi, etc. (Closing, 2017).
