THE CORPORATION

The documentary shows the development of the contemporary business corporation, from a legal
entity that originated as a government-chartered institution meant to affect specific public functions to
the rise of the modern commercial institution entitled to most of the legal rights of a person. The
documentary concentrates mostly upon North American corporations, especially those in the United
States that one theme is its assessment of corporations as persons. It looks at the history of corporation
and follows them up until present day to illustrate their dominance in society. This film represence being
part of the corporate world and finding way onto another career path for many of the reasons
illustrated in. It’s basically concern is profit and the producing more and more per every man hour. It
started off in history stating that business was once strictly regulated. Corporations were chartered for
specific jobs.

humanity has been degraded to the role of servants of corporations. This documentary reveals the
origin and country of corporations. Therefore, phenomenon which is economic expansion of
corporations, their strong position and activities in contrary to social needs and natural environment are
differentiated as well as its pace and strength. However, it can't be denied, that corporations have
economically conquered the world, within help of consumerism, globalization and mass culture. In
19th's century nightmare directly connected with industrial and second industrial revolutions came back
in 21st century and has been strengthen with ICT and information technologies (IT). The source of the
power of corporation lays in so called harsh-capitalism, which originates in 19th century. Nowadays,
small or medium enterprises are led to bankruptcy by corporations on the free market in competitive
way. SME's can't compete with huge, international corporations on the mass scale and in long-time
perspective. Corporations provide anonymity and blurred responsibility for taken decisions and their
results. That means that any search of responsibility is harder and also blurred. Moreover, where there
is no clear and well-known decision making organ, there is no connection and specific social or moral
'bond' with moral and social issues of local society of the region where particular corporation operates.
That allows corporation to act against society, completely ignoring their needs, traditions and way of
life. Moreover, local society would not have any legal instrument of pressure on corporation to pull back
from their antisocial or anti natural economic actions and policy. It is also observed from the social point
of view of corporations rather than their products. Corporation makes human health harm since we are
into the chemical product that are being change in the way of process. It maximize the profit of the
market share and all the customer take the responsibility to mold people into a huge income.

Corporation's are major entities in the world and they have an enormous impact on everyone's lives. In
today's society corporations do not care about protecting the environment, they do not care about
protecting the consumer, and they do not care about their employees. Many corporations will
incorporate drugs into their products that will hurt the consumer, but help the product. Also, many
corporations pay their associates only a few cents a day for hours of strenuous work. All corporations
care about is money in their pocket, and they will do whatever it takes to make that amount of money
very large. Corporations do not care about how many people they are hurting or how they are affecting
others lives. Corporations care not about their consumers, but solely about their profits.
