Nodebase Staking Guide

The following document explains how to setup your wallet for staking

Step 1
Click on Open Wallet Configuration file
Step 2
This should open a file called nodebase.conf in your default text editor. Make sure the
following text is displayed in this file. If staking=1 is NOT there perform the following
1. Type it in manually
2. Save the file
3. Close the file
4. Close your wallet
5. Open your wallet

Step 3
If your wallet is locked, make sure that it is unlocked. You can fully unlock it if you wish or
just for anonymization and staking only for better security by ticking the appropriate box on
the unlock window.

Step 4
That’s it!
Now you just have to wait until your coins mature, the staking process begins automatically.
You can tell if you have everything ok by checking the following things
Check 1
Open the debug console

In the following window type getstakingstatus and then hit Enter

You should see the following message with all trues at every line

Check 2
Hover your mouse over the icon in the lower right hand side of your wallet where this arrow
is pointing. A tooltip should appear that says Staking:Active and the icon should be green in
colour.
