To all EE 172 students with INC grade.

Here's the list of activities you must perform this summer.

Mini Projects

1. Create a transistor switching circuit that uses a sensor as a triggering device.

Deadline: July 09, 2019

2. Design and build your own transistor amplifier with a minimum gain of 200.
Deadline: July 12, 2019

3. Design and build your own filter using Op-Amp.

Deadline: July 19,2019

Notes:
A. All of these are INDIVIDUAL activities.
B. Submit a Project Report (minimum of 3 pages) showing the following:
i. Circuit schematic - Create your own schematic using any software (PSPICE, etc.)
Copy and Paste schematics will not be accepted.
ii. List of materials and cost - Use materials that are readily available in the market.
iii. Discussion - Explain the real world significance of your project.
C. Submit a Project Documentation (pictures and videos) showing how you create the project
from scratch. Document each step: from designing, materials acquisition up to finished project.
You must show your face for authentication.
D. You may borrow all available equipment you need in the EE/ECE Laboratory.

Whiteboard Tests

This is a student-instructor 1 on 1 activity.

Each student will be asked to solve and discuss circuit problems on the board.
3 Problems (1 BJT Amp, 1 FET Amp & 1 Op-Amp).
If a student will show weakness or inability to perform the task, he/she will reenrol the subject this
coming First Semester.
