Instructions:
 Do not turn to the first page until you are told to do so.
 Remember to write down your team name in the space indicated on every page.
 There are 10 problems in the Team Contest, arranged in increasing order of
difficulty. Each question is printed on a separate sheet of paper. Each problem is
worth 10 points. For all problems only numerical answers are required.
 The four team members are allowed 10 minutes to discuss and distribute the first
8 problems among themselves. Each student must attempt at least one problem.
Each will then have 35 minutes to write the answers of their allotted problem
independently with no further discussion or exchange of problems. The four
team members are allowed 15 minutes to solve the last 2 problems together.
 No calculator or calculating device or electronic devices are allowed.
For Juries Use Only
 Answer must be in pencil or in blue or black ball point pen.
 All papers shall be collected at the end of this test.

2. 10 children sitting in a round circle, being numbered 1-10 in ascending order. They
are playing a game. Child numbered 1 starts the game, he has to hand over his
balloon; then skip a child, the following child will need to hand over his balloon
as well; then skip 2 children, the following child hand over his balloon too; skip 3
children, ….the game continue with this methology. Albert do not wish to hand
over his balloon, which are the positions in the circle he should choose ?

4. Jovan has moved into a new house in a long road in which the houses are
numbered consecutively from 1 to 82. To find out his house number I ask him
three questions to which I receive a yes/no answer. I will not tell you the answers,
but if you can work them out, you will discover his house number. The questions
are:

1. Is it under 41?
2. Is it divisible by 4?
3. Is it a square number?

8. Create an eight digits number using only the digits 4,4,3,3,2,2,1 and 1. You
have to make sure the ones are separated by one digit, the twos are separated by
two digits, the threes are separated by three digits and the fours are separated by
four digits.

9. There is only one road from town A to town B. At 8:00am, car X travels from town
A to town B at a constant speed of 95km/h. 36 minutes later, car Y travels from
town B to town A at a constant speed of 76km/h. Let the position where the two
cars meet at P. If the distance from town A to P is twice that of the distance from
P to town B, find the distance, in km, between town A and town B along the road.

自城市 A 到城市 B 只有一条路。早上 8:00 am, 轿车 X 自城市 A 以每小时 95 km 的平均速

10. It is known that the sum of 22 different positive integers is 2017. If we omit the
largest and the smallest integers, the sum will become 1910. If the 22 integers
