I. Introductory Concept

The elements of design are the building blocks used by the designers to create the
designs. They are the parts and components of any composition or object.

The principles of design combine the elements to create a composition. They are the
guidelines used to arrange the elements. Each principle is a concept used to organize or

and to the composition as a whole.

These elements of art and principles of design are fundamental parts of our everyday
objects

With the help of modern technology, creating designs for jewelry, bags, clothes,
furniture, bottles and many other things is made easier because of computer.

Nowadays, designs drawing and printing out some of the design elements are
enhanced digitally. There is a variety of software that can be used in product design
and one should be knowledgeable on the software needed to make a package design.

Package designs are important. Customers look at the packaging when

Name of Pupil: ____________________________________ Date: ____________

Learning Area: ARTS Grade Level: 6 Quarter: FOURTH Week: 4

Elements Applied in an Audio-Video Art

1. Architecture and Topography

Architecture – buildings and structure

Topography – relief features or surface configuration of an area

2. Light

3. Movement

4. Sound

5. Time

Design Principles Applied in Audio-Video Art

1. Background and Video Design - The first principle of video

design to note is the focal point. The focal point is the main and
central figure in the video.

2. Repetition / Rhythm - Lines to shapes to colors to textures

and more, creating a sense of repetition will add interest and
intrigue to video content. In order to make a scene coherent, it
may be necessary to repeat certain elements in video content.
A sense of rhythm can also be created by adding patterns to
videos.

3. Balance / Imbalance - The video’s composition doesn’t need

to be perfectly balanced, or symmetrical to create a visual
equilibrium. In fact, an imbalance can intensify the emotional
strength of the content being displayed.

4. Hierarchy - Creating a sense of hierarchy is crucial to attracting the viewer's eye to

important pieces of information. The previous principles help reinforce the content’s
visual hierarchy. It’s generally recommended to include important elements and less
important elements in event video content. In a video, it’s key to emphasize one subject
that tells a story. For a quick example: people are normally at the top of a hierarchy,
whereas the background is at the bottom. In general, there are other principles of
design that support hierarchy, such as contrast, color, light and unity.

1
5) Unity / Harmony - Unity is achieved when all the elements of video design are used
in conjunction with each other successfully. This is the main goal of a video designer.
How are all of the scenes, on-screen objects, subject matter working together? Getting
all the pieces to come together, through repetition of shape, strong contrast, definitive
focal point, balanced composition and more, create a unified video and compelling
message.

I. Introductory Concept

Video recording is the process of electronically capturing still or moving images.

You do not need expensive, sophisticated equipment to take and produce good videos.
Nowadays smartphones can take good videos but the size may not be as large as a regular
camera. Mobile video editing applications can be downloaded on your smartphone allowing
you to edit videos without the need to transfer clips to a computer.

One workable video editing applications is the

KineMaster Pro – KineMaster Pro APK is the best video editing app for
Android users to edit the videos on a professional level. Nowadays YouTube,
TikTok, Instagram, etc. are going so fast in the field of video. So KineMaster
Pro App is the best one to edit your videos.

How to Edit your Videos Using KineMaster Pro

1. Open the app.

You will need few clips of yours in order to edit

videos in KineMaster Pro Video Editor. You can
use your own camera to film a short clip maybe
of your friends or your pet. Any video clip would
just work fine.

2. Add transition to your clips

Transitions are the gateway of two clips

interacting together. It's just an added style of
moving towards another clip. You can choose
between different variations such as 3D, Slide,
Presentation etc. While you work with 2 or more
clips at the same time, you'll notice a white
square button in between. That's the transition
button. Just tap on the transition button and select any transition of your choice. One good
thing about KineMaster is that it gives you live preview of transitions with your clips. Once
you've added the transition, the transition button then turns into a star! (or according to your
transition)

1
3. Add text to your clips.

Texts are almost always used in videos no

matter what the video is. You can narrate
the story, highlight key peoples related to
the video, display the title of video and etc.
Adding texts in your videos is as easy as
writing on a paper. Of course you don't
have to write but type. You can choose between various numbers of already available
designs of Font.

4. Add some music to your clips.

You can add any music you want. And you

can also adjust the timing as well as the
compression of the left and right speakers.
You can also change the audio tune to
Deep, Chipmunk, Robot etc. Basically you
can adjust your audio as you would with a
clip. One last highlight of the music tool is that you could adjust the volume of the audio
according to your needs. You can increase and decrease the volume many times in a
given clip.

5. Add some final touches

You can still make more adjustments to

your clips such as add Effects, Overlay, or
get even more creative by working with
Chroma Key. You could open a whole new
path of editing.

6. Export your video

Tap on the share button and in this

time. Things could get a little messy
since you'll have to make few
adjustments before export.

2
