EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Internship report has been prepared on “General Banking Of Social Islami Bank Limited
(SIBL): A Study on Alanker Moor Branch, Chittagong.” This is done on the basis of primary
data and secondary data. The information used in the report has collected from various sources
such as practical banking work, face to face conversation with the customer, published materials
like annual reports, website & annual reports of Social Islami Bank Limited .
The Internship report is prepared for the requirement of BSS (Hons.) in Economics & Banking
program of the International Islamic University Chittagong. This report is intended to assist the
reader in detailed understanding general banking activities of Social Islami Bank Limited.

The purpose of this report is to have an idea about general banking activities of Social Islami
Bank Limited and then to assess its number of accounts & growth rate in connection with general
banking.

In this report, first of all I’ve discussed about the objectives, methodology, scope of & limitations
of the study containing the sources of data I’ve collected. For face to face data collection, I have
taken 125 respondent customers in the field of my internship report.

Then in the organizational part, I have provided detailed information about the company profile,
mission and vision, operating strategy. After that I’ve discussed about general banking activities
of Social Islami Bank Limited.

Finally I have tried to provide some findings and recommendations about general banking
activities of Social Islami Bank Limited.
