FARM by: ELZIE TOMNOB BARBOSA

Bulky trees, chirp of birds, bountiful harvest of fruits and vegies, the cold
dew in the morning, the variety of species greatly define this special place for me.
The demesne that taught me how to surpass everything even the forgather of tiring
and uneasy pain get from whole day of stepping my feet on the ground with the
amalgamation of sludgy and brambly field that sometimes collaborated by
excruciating heat transubstantiating me to sunbathed.

Wiping the sweat that run through my body due to so much perspiring
day to day scenario of my life, I took a short break under the shade of a tree while
holding my breath so bathed. I roam around my vision to the farthest distance it
can be then I start visualizing the life I want to be. I gave a sudden glimpse on my
family and there I remember a piece of newspaper that my father flaunted to us
containing a picture of a modern house. "Gusto ko ganito yung ipagawa nyong
bahay natin ha" he said it kiddingly. Looking at his eyes, I can see
the eager enthusiasm and interest of changing our life. I can feel how much
exhausted they are just to survive on our everyday living.

Going back to my contrivance, I start viewing every angle to a something

new, something what we want to just like dwelling on the life we dreamed on. With
this, every chimera and delusion seems to be possible. I cast out and make every
uncertain things definitely known.

I’ve painted this farm because this is where I start. This is the only place that
have a special place in my heart. Everything I've done there before becomes my
strength to make myself rugged enough to build the foundation of my dreams. Just
like planting crops, my dreams are already plotted and now I am drenching it not
with water but with tears and perspires to unveil that I am striving hard just to be
one of the best all around aspirants architect- for it is the path I am lay hold off
unto now.
This was consort admirably with a sunset having a vibrant color to
emblematize that despite all of the hardships we've gone through, at the end of
the day there's still a colorful life that awaits us on the near future.
