AP Budget 2019-20 Highlights

Finance Minister YanamalaRamakrishnudu presented the State Budget for the financial year 2019-
20 on Feb 5, 2019.
The highlights are –
 Liabilities of AP increased to Rs 2,23,706crore by the end of financial year 2017-18 as against
Rs 1,48,744 crore in fiscal 2014-15.
 Total Construction Cost of Amaravati - Rs 1,09,023crore. Estimated Cost of Phase 1 - Rs
51,687 crore. Construction Works worth Rs 39,875 crore are under progress.
 Revenue Expenditure and Capital Expenditure are estimated to be 20.03 percent each. While
Revenue Expenditure for 2019-20 is about Rs 1,80, 369.33 crore, Capital Expenditure is
estimated to be Rs 29,596.33 crore.
 Revenue Surplus accounts to Rs 2,099.47 crore. Rs 32, 390 crore fiscal deficit is about 3.03
percent of the AP's GDP.
 Budget Estimates for 2019-20 increased by 18.38 percent when compared to 2018-19.
 Amaravati Marine Project which is projected as India's largest marine project is likely to
operational by June 2019.
 Land Allotments were done for 8 Star Hotels (4-Star & 5-Star) in Amaravati. Novotel, Hilton,
Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn, Green Park, GRT and Daspalla will be setting up their new
branches.

 Rs 300 crore for Anna Canteens
 Rs 100 crore for Brahmin Corporation
 Rs 24,000 crore spent for waiver of Farm Loan Waiver
 Unemployment Allowance increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 1,000 per Month
