In accordance with the DepEd Order No. 3, s.

2007, guidelines in the

Deployment of Pre-service and the Memorandom of Agreement (MOA) , the
Saint Michael College of Hindang, Leyte conducted its orientation for the student
teacher’s lead by Dr. Crisanto T. Daga, the Division Supervisor of the DepEd
Region VIII, together with Mr. Prisko Pasko Jr., Mr. Winefredo Piamonte, the Pre-
service teaching coordinator, Mr. Faustino E. Flores, the President of Saint
Michael College of Hindang, Leyte Inc. and Mrs. Emelinda Borong, dean of college
of dean of education, for the Pre-service teachers last August of 2018 at Hindang
gymnasium. They comprehensively discussed each guidelines with its
corresponding duties and responsibilities. But before that, Dr. Daga energize us by
immitating the three gorillas dancing. Then, he give us many tips on how to
manage our future students and hiw to maintain good relationship with our
future cooperating teachers and school assigned.

They further discussed the importance of curriculum guide (CG), Teacher’s

Guide (TG), and Learner’s Manual (LM), especially about lesson plan (DLP) and
daily lesson log (DLP) which was discussed by Mr. Prisko Pasko Jr.. They also let us
viewed how a pre-service teacher looks like by presenting a model of a
responsible teacher with three bags.

The orientation teach us strategies and lessons to be used in our life in the
field. They also give us advises on how to made Pre-service teaching worth it and
valuable especially on how to treat students and the society.
