OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to be able to:
a. define communication;
b. identify the different elements of the communication process; and
c. demonstrate the communication process through a simple conversation.

Materials : Laptop, LCD Projector, Writing Paper, Pen, Textbooks

III. PROCEDURE

A. Preliminary Activities
1. Daily Routine
A short prayer and the checking of attendance.

2. Motivation
The class will be divided into three groups. The activity called “Message Relay”
will be conducted.

B. DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES

1. Presentation of the Lesson


With the activity, the teacher will present the lesson with the aid of a powerpoint
presentation.

 Elements of Communication
 Process of Communication

3. Generalization
1. What is communication?
2. What are the elements of the communication process?

4. Application
Make a simple dialogue based on the pictures provided/ flashed on screen.

IV. EVALUATION
Draw/ illustrate and discuss briefly the communication cycle/ process.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Identify the different models of communication and distinguish the unique features of
the communication process.
