Hello Darren,
We are vastly impressed with the progress Exxon has made in reducing greenhouse gas
emissions over the years. It’s great to see large corporations commit to change for the betterment
of the environment and the Earth we live on. Unfortunately, there are many other gas and oil
corporations that don’t take the initiative to place the environment over company success. Which
is why we must spread awareness.

HOW WE CAN SPREAD AWARENESS:

We are launching an “Ozone Revival Campaign” that we hope will spread awareness about the
dangers of greenhouse gas emissions amongst all of the other major corporations in your
industry. This campaign will be a series of presentations and tours highlighting the effects of
greenhouse gas emissions and their negative effects on our ozone layer. By cooperating with us,
you will stand at the forefront as an advocate of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The world
will see that ExxonMobil is doing its best job to create alternative energy solutions and diminish
their methane emissions as much as possible. As a monolith oil and gas corporations, the others
are sure to follow suit. We would greatly appreciate it if you were to attend in person as the
representative of your company. We are also recommending that a team of your researchers and
problem-solvers accompany you as well, as there’s sure to be a panel for questions. Here are a
few of the following questions to expect:

QUESTIONS:
We want to know what ExxonMobil is investing in. What are some alternative energy sources
that ExxonMobil is looking into? Ideally, it would be best to explain the plans and the ongoing
research taking place regarding this matter. We are also particularly interested in flaring, the
negative effects of flaring and what Exxon is doing to put an end to it. Another essential topic
that the campaign plans on covering is the topic of biofuels. Is there a future in biofuels, and if
so, how efficient is it? Can we rely on it as a primary source of energy or is it simply not strong
enough at our current stage of research? Lastly, we thought it would be great to end on this
question: Does ExxonMobil expect a day where they are no longer emitting methane or is that an
unrealistic goal?

I would like to thank you for receiving my letter and thank you for your time, should you decide
to embark on this endeavor with us. I hope that through this campaign, we can bring forth change
to the other corporations who have seemed to place profits over the health of our environment.

Thank you,
President James Frederick Bridenstine
