☀️Here are my TIPS
☀️We booked our Promo round trip flight Via Cebu Pacific for ₱7,000 (But I suggest book Air Asia
from Bali to Manila because they have midnight flight (You can save 1 night for the Hotel
accommodation) & You’ll arrive 4:00 in the morning at Manila
☀️Exchange your peso to dollar in the Philippines then ask your driver/guide to bring you to money
changers in Bali where rates are reasonable then exchange it to IDR
☀️Make sure you have reservation @The Edge, https://www.oneeightybali.com/
☀️For Hotel accommodation, much better if you book via Booking.comit's much cheaper than walk-in
☀️We stayed around Sanur area because it is more accessible and less crowded (Indi Hotel
₱775/Night w/ pool)
☀️Bring universal adapter
☀️Food in Bali is very affordable you can taste their authentic local food for $1-$2 only per meal. You
must Try Mixed Balinese Food and always tell them less spicy please (their food are innately
spicy) ☀️
☀️For Rattan Bags you can buy at Tirta Empul and always ask for cheaper price (bargain 4x) ☀️
☀️Always bring water most of the restaurants and fast food chains in Bali do not provide service
water
☀️Bring shawl and umbrella too, especially if you are going between May-September (it is warm and
humid) and wet season starts between October until April
♥️Aside from the beautiful destinations and picture perfect views that can be found in Bali, it is
noteworthy that they have preserved well the Balinese culture and their identity. One of the tourist
guide explained to us the value and significance of marriage and religion in their place. You will see
there that each family owns a temple where they can pray and worship.
♥️Some tour guides are not yet well-versed in English language but they are prepared and are
already using google translator, please be patient and respectful to them. We only stayed there for 5
days but we have made connections and friendships transcending language barrier since the
universal expression of kindness is predominant in Bali folks.
♥️Lastly, always remember that as tourists we are the strangers to their place. Let us practice
responsible tourism wherever we go by conserving their environment (bring refillable water
containers and dispose your waste properly) and help sustain the well-being of the local people by
respecting their culture and identity.
Bali is more than just a place. It's a mood. It's magical. It's a tropical state of mind. I will definitely
comeback and bring my loved ones.☀️
