Traditional Brazilian

Brigadeiros

Ingredients:
1 can of condensed milk
10 g of butter
25 g of cocoa powder
Chocolate sprinkles

Preparation:
1- In a small pot, put the condensed milk, the cocoa powder and the butter.
2- Cook it over slow heat always mixing with a wooden
spoon or spatula. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring
constantly (it’s important, otherwise it will burn!) until
the mixture is thick and shiny. A way to know is to run
your wooden spoon in the middle of the mixture. If it
takes a while for the mixture to move, then your
brigadeiro is ready!
3- Pour the mixture in a greased dish and let it cool to
room temperature at least 2 hours.
4- Grease your hands with butter and roll the brigadeiros
into little balls. (In Brazil usually use half a tablespoon as measurement, but you
can make your balls as big or small as you'd like!)
5- Roll the brigadeiro balls into the sprinkles and place them in paper/foil candy cups.

Ingredients:
1 can of condensed milk
10 g of butter
10 chocolate cream cookies
1- Remove the cream from the cookies and grind up
the cookies. You can make this step in the blender.
2- In a small pot, put the condensed milk, the
cookie’s cream and the butter.
3- Follow the same process from the traditional,
when you finished roll the balls into the grind
cookies.
