SIMPLE PRESENT / PHRASAL VERBS
ORIENTACIONES

 This is the first unit, you will learn how to make sentences using
the Present Simple.You will talk about routines ad habits.
 Remember that it’s necessary to use the auxiliaries DO and
DOES to ask questions.
 For making sentences in negative form you have to use the
auxiliaries DON’T and DOESN’T and the VERB ( base form)
 You will also have the opportunity to combine the verbs +
prepositions o words ( PHRASAL VERBS )
 Start working with the Two word verbs and try to look for
synonyms.

• We don’t accept to give the money back if the
product is damaged.

PRACTICE • Put the verbs into the present simple or the
present continuous.

PHRASAL VERBS
We often use with the following verbs:

in up on away round about over


by out off down back
through along over

So you can say – put up – get on – take


off. These are phrasal verbs.

We often use out/off/up etc. with verbs
of movement.

But often the second word (out/off/up)
gives a special meaning to the verb.

Sometimes a phrasal verb is followed


by a preposition. For example:

Simple.Try to use business language in your sentences.

 The Present Simple has many uses.So be careful with that!

 Don forget to use auxiliaries for making questions and negative


form.

 Make a review about the Verbs in order not to have


inconvenients with the phrasal verbs.

 Do the exercises and practice a lot.
