50 cash prizes of R1 000 each and 20 Huawei Mate 20 Pros valued at R14 789 each (SIM card and airtime excluded), will be awarded over a period of 4 weeks.

The weekly lucky draws will take place:

• 8 March 2019: 12 x R1 000 cash, 5 x Huawei Mate 20 Pros
• 15 March 2019: 12 x R1 000 cash, 5 x Huawei Mate 20 Pros
• 22 March 2019: 12 x R1 000 cash, 5 x Huawei Mate 20 Pros
• 29 March 2019: 14 x R1 000 cash, 5 x Huawei Mate 20 Pros

How to enter
To qualify for the weekly draw, you have to perform at least 3 digital transactions in a week during the competition period. For every 3 digital transactions you
automatically qualify for one entry.
Transactions have to be made using one or more of the following:
• Capitec card (cash withdrawals excluded)
• Capitec cellphone banking app
• *120*3279#
• Internet banking
• Capitec Masterpass™

Campaign and competition rules

1. The name of the campaign is “Go Cashless Challenge” and Capitec Bank is the promoter of the Competition
2. The competition for a share of R50 000 in weekly cash prizes or one of 20 Huawei Mate 20 Pros runs from 1 March 2019 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 March
2019 (“Competition Period”)
3. You stand a chance to win R1 000 cash paid into your Capitec account or a Huawei Mate 20 Pro if you perform 3 digital transactions in one week during the
competition period. For every 3 digital transactions you qualify for one entry. A week is considered to begin on a Monday and end on a Sunday at 11:59pm
4. The competition is open to natural persons:
4.1 Who are citizens of, and living in, the Republic of South Africa, and this campaign is only open to persons over the age of 18 years
4.2 Who is a Capitec client, with all Capitec accounts being in good standing
5. Your contact details will automatically be entered into the competition if you perform the qualifying transactions for entry into the lucky draw (3.). This will be
considered a valid entry into the lucky draw
6. All valid entries will be collated on a weekly basis for the duration of the competition period for entry into a random draw to stand a chance to win 1 of 50 cash
prizes valued at R1 000 each or one of 20 Huawei Mate 20 Pros (SIM card and airtime not included)
7. Winners will be notified with a telephone call and the details on how to deliver the prize will be given at that point. If you cannot be reached by telephone after 72
hours, we will be forced to draw another winner and your prize will be forfeited
8. The prizes are not transferable or negotiable and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro prizes cannot be exchanged for cash
9. Cash prizes will be deposited directly into the winner’s Capitec account
10. Your entry into the competition and/or your acceptance of the prize (in the event that you win a prize) constitutes your binding acceptance of the competition
rules
11. You may not win a prize if it is unlawful for us to supply such a prize to you. If you do win such a prize, you will forfeit it if it is not collected within the first 30 days
after receiving the call that you won. You must be eligible to win the prize
12. You must possess an ID document and whatever documents and permissions that may be required in order to accept and use a prize, which documents and
permissions it is your responsibility to obtain at your own cost, and which documents and permissions must remain valid in such minimum form
13. We will not be responsible, and disclaim all liability, for any loss, liability, injury, expense or damage (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential)
of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, which is suffered by your participation in the competition or the acceptance and/or use by
you, of any prize, or by any action taken by us or any of our affiliates in accordance with the competition rules
14. If you fail to comply with any of the competition rules, then without prejudice to any other remedy which we may have, you will be automatically be disqualified
and you will forfeit the prize(s) (in the event that you have already won a prize)
