50% of non-official members of this committee will retire after every three years, but they
will be eligible for membership of this committee again. The main objectives of the
committee will be:

i) to provide opportunities to the farmers to hold discussions with the University

experts
ii) to bring the problems of the farmers to the notice of the experts of the PAU and
to find out their solutions.
iii) to help for the dissemination of new research of the PAU and to boost
extension education and research programmes.
