Dear Students and Parents,

I look forward to working with you toward reaching a common goal – to gain optimal math
achievement throughout the 2016-2017 school year. My job is to prepare my students to
successfully complete CCSS 6 or CCSS 7, which will lead to future success on the math
continuum at Hawthorn Middle School North. It is important for each of us to understand our role
in the learning process so that your educational experience will be positive and productive.
Please read my classroom guidelines (specifically pages 8-10) to ensure complete
understanding of what is expected from the student and the teacher.
