 Length and width is measured between inside faces of external wall.
 Different construction type or standard of finished measured
separately.
 The area of all unclosed covered area (which is not totally enclosed
by full height wall such as corridor,verandah,car porch, balcony and
etc) shall be multiplied by ½.

4. The cost estimation is a design guide which will show whether the project is
appropriate to the allocation made earlier. Explain the action should be
taken if the estimation is higher than the allocated sum?
 The design could be altered to reduce the cost.
