Travel PROHIBITED when hazardous conditions exist included SNOW, ICE, MUD, ROCKS, WINDS and REDUCED VISIBILITY.
NO oversize movement is EVER allowed where the chain law is in effect. Overweight ONLY are allowed to chain up and proceed as conditions allow.

When CDOT issues this permit, it does not assume any liability in regard to the condition of roads or capacity of culverts or bridges. It is the
permittee's responsibility to make necessary inspections of the road or bridge before proceeding. In addition, CDOT field officials have the authority to

The undersigned agrees:
1. To take every precaution to protect the highway and traffic from damage or injury, using certified pilot cars or flagpersons to warn
the traveling public on all blind curves, both horizontal and vertical:
2. In case of an overwidth load, the same is to be placed on the vehicles with the overhang as far to the right as possible, and in any
event the materials shall be loaded so as to present the minimum hazard to the public.
3. To be financially responsible and to make prompt payment for any damage caused to the traffic, to traffic lights, overhead signs,
wires, cables and other installations or to the highway or bridges by the transportation of this load. C.R.S. 42-4-512.
4. That the operator of the vehicle(s) is duly licensed according to statute.
5. To operate the vehicle or vehicles at all times in accordance with any and all provisions of the law, except as exempted herein,
with regard to motor vehicles and the operation thereof.
6. That he/she understands and accepts all provisions and requirements of this permit.
7. To indemnify and hold harmless the State of Colorado, the State Department of Transportation, its officers and employees,
appointed officials and all members of the State Transportation Commission from all suits, actions or claims of any character
whatsoever brought because of injuries or damage received by any person, persons or property arising from the issuance or use of
this permit.
