The following is the list of provisionally selected students for admission into 1st Semester PG Programme of Study in the
mentioned subject and Department in Gauhati University prepared on the basis of performance in the PGET, GU, 2019 and
academic credentials of the students submitted online and claim to be true by themselves as per the procedure approved by the
Admission Committee GU.

Anti-Ragging Declaration: Prospective students are directed to attend the concerned Department with their original
testimonials along with the ANTI-RAGGING undertakings as instructed in the http://www.antiragging.in/ on the date and
time mentioned above, failing which their seats may be forfeited. The Heads of the Departments are requested to make special
arrangements for verification of all original documents at the time of admission.
Those who wish to apply for admission under the Fee Waiver Admission Scheme shall have to apply in the prescribed
format to the Department concerned. A separate form has been designed for the purpose which will be available in G.U. website
w.e.f. 25-7-2019 and which are to be filled up and must be submitted in the respective Department on the date of admission or
latest by 1st August, 2019.
Admission Fee Amount: Rs.20755/-
Mode of Payment: Students have to log on to the GU Admission Portal using their Application ID and Password to pay
the necessary admission fee starting a day after the date of admission but has to produce the pay-in-slip in the concerned
Department on or before 1st August, 2019.
Prospective students are informed that their admission is subject to satisfactory verification of all documents and
fulfilment of all eligibility criteria of the Department and admission rules of Gauhati University.

As per the relevant Ordinance, students who are doing or have completed a P.G. Course from G.U. will be considered for admission
only after all fresh students (first timers) are admitted (even if their names/Roll no (s) is/are to be found in the merit list, if any), provided any
seat remains vacant after this irrespective of any category except in case of AICTE, NCTE, BCI recognised Courses.
Concerned HoD’s are requested to make special arrangement for verification of all original documents at the time of
admission.
