• All stated information expressed within this document is to be read in conjunction with lighting design layout, detail drawings and all
other documentation within the Lighting Designers package of information.

• All stated dimensions / length of product are subject to change due to on site conditions.

• All expressed product references, names, types , codes, attachments etc… are for reference only are to be confirmed by the
contractor with the referred manufacturer prior to ordering.

• All specified products are specified based on an equal or approved based. Approval of an alternative product will be subject to providing
photometric date, working sample and the relevant lighting calculations to confirm that the alternative can meet the required design
criteria.

• All manufacturers must guarantee tooling for each specified product for a minimum of ten years for production of spares.

• Control Gear , Ballast, transformers & LED drivers are to be supplied by the manufacturer of the product, unless written approval by
the manufacturer has been made for each product type for the contractor to provide alternative bands.

• The contractor must ensure all relevant fixing elements, installation housings, and tools are to be supplied with the product in
conjunction with manufacturers recommendations.

• The contractor must ensure compatibility of the product with respect to the lighting control system / building management system or
room management system with respect to lighting control, switching capability and dimming.

• Emergency lighting has been deemed as part of the electrical consultants package, for maintained & non-maintained light fixtures, the
contractor must ensure the relevant conversion pack, relays and modules are supplied and are compatible to the emergency lighting
system. The system must meet with local recommendations and codes of practice.

• The proposed and specified emergency lighting strategy and product specification must be presented to the lighting designer for
review, comment and approval.

• We would recommend 5% spare fixtures to be supplied for each product and 10% lamps pending client approval. Decorative, individual
units and bespoke items are excluded pending specific approval from design team and client.

• A minimum 5 year guarantee for LED fixtures is to be offered to client, and 1 year guarantee for all other fixture types.

• The contractor must ensure all product is installed as per manufacturers guidelines.

• A mock up of each product type is required prior to completing the full installation and is to be reviewed and approved by a member of
the Lighting Design team, unless otherwise instructed.
