Project Summary

Name of the Enterprise

The business/enterprise shall be named “BAE-BIKO”. The name came from

the bisaya word “BAE” meaning “FRIEND” or a person that are close to our

heart and “BIKO” because of our product. It was named “BAE-BIKO” after

we gather some suggestions from the group and all the gathered information,

we formed it to a meaningful name. These are the suggested names for your

reference “BHABIKO”, “BIBIKO” & “MAY-BIKO”, although, those

names are like a childish word for us. However, creating a brand name

nowadays is very difficult if it is not can be easily remembered from

consumers/customers/buyers perspective that is why we combined it

together and come up with the enterprise name “BAE-BIKO”.

In other way of explaining our brand name, “BAE-BIKO” is an enterprise

created for all Filipino people or with Filipino Heart especially to the people

who loves eating local delicacies.

The uniqueness of the idea made the everyone agree to establish the name

of the enterprise “BAE-BIKO”.

Biko de Ube is a delicious Filipino Delicacy (Kakanin) that seems to be a

crossover between the traditional Biko and Ube Halaya. The product proposal

is to serve valued customers in a new/innovative product, a healthy food

that they will enjoy not only for adults but also for the young ones. Why?

because unlike the other Biko you’ve seen/tasted, our Biko de Ube is not

made from a Sugar Cane and added a flavor particularly ube and mixed with

peanuts and in a form of fruits as toppings.

from the start of the day up to the end of it. We also eat rice sometimes as

snacks or merienda. And we the researchers love to eat rice and we see a

huge potential to it as a product in the market. The business started in the

accordance of the group and have decided to make a twist with the normal

rice into biko de ube product mixed with different toppings such as cheese
