Some Problem in Learning Conditional Sentence Type 1

English has a structure and rule which is different from other language. Some Indonesian students
frequently make mistakes when they try to understand a foreign language. In order to get a clear
understanding, they must know its rule, pattern and structure. Likewise, conditional sentences.
Conditional sentence means the sentence which contains “if clause” and result clause. To understand
conditional sentences for Indonesian students seem difficult since the grammatical rule in terms the
verb form of English an Indonesian language is totally different. In Indonesian language, there is no
differences in the form of verb, whether it is conditional sentences type 1, 2, or 3. But, in English,
there are differences when the verb is used for conditional sentences type 1, 2, 3.
