Celebration of culture and advancement is a feature of civilized societies. It is also not rare that many
non-traditional festivals are organized in the society as an excuse to bring together special interest groups
like literature lovers, food lovers, shoppers, students, educators, and others. One field that affects all,
that connects all and has a stake in everybody's life is health. A large scale festival about health
has remained a dream till now.

It is surprising that there has not been a single health festival that was organized anywhere in a recognizable
and sizeable manner. This is the very reason why TV House, an organization which is majorly into
health related activities on TV, launched a 4 day mega health festival that was held from 04 - 07 May, 2017.
Based on the success of the same Bangalore health festival is being announced to be held annually
henceforth. The second edition of Bangalore health festival is scheduled to be held from 14-17 June, 2018.

Bangalore Health Festival will be held in Bengaluru city for Four days as an interaction and interface

THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

This committee will consist of five prominent and well known doctors from Karnataka
headed by Dr. H Sudarshan Ballal ( Chairman- Manipal Hospitals).

THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE

This will consist of six health care professionals who have thorough knowledge of the health care industry.
The Committee will be headed by Mr. Vinayaka Ramakrishna (CEO- TV House Network Pvt. Ltd.)

RECEPTION COMMITTEE
This will be a 6 member team of event management professionals.
The Committee will be headed by Dr. Shantala (well known women’s specialist)

The event will be directed and supervised by Deepak Thimaya, a renowned media professional and entrepreneur.

PARTICIPATION / ENTRY
Entry to general and stall areas is free.
Entry to Exhibition and Contest areas will be ticketed at Rs. 40/day for adults and Rs. 20 /day
for children aged between 8 to 16 years. Tickets can be bought at the venue or on the website or
select event portals. Professionals interested to attend conferences and discussions are required to
register on the website.

INAUGURATION
The event organizers will invite the CM of Karnataka, the Union Minister for Health, the Bangalore in-charge
minister and the Health Minister of Karnataka. Also, senior officers from related departments will be invited.
Several important clinicians, hospital administrators and celebrities will also be present.

ASSOCIATES
The Festival is being conducted in association with the Government of Karnataka Departments of Health and
Family Welfare and Tourism. Association is being worked out with the department of Bangalore Development
and town planning. Deccan Herald and Prajavani, well-respected dailies in Karnataka, have come in as
print partners.

Expected footfalls per day is minimum 10,000 to max 20,000
