Raw material for drum:

The drums material is plain carbon steel (mild

steel).
V-belt:

A pair of Z-section V belts are used for

transmitting power from the weapon motor to the
drum. The belts work as clutch thus protecting the
weapon motor from sudden shocks.

Chassis (armour):

BASE ASSEMBLY
The chassis is made with an 8mm thick 6061-T6
aluminum plate as base plate. This is fabricated on a
CNC water jet machine . The walls are integrated
armour and chassis and are of the same material as the
base plate.They are both welded and bolted
(countersunk Allen bolts) on the base plate. The total
assembly is then stress relieved to nullify the effect of
HAZ (heat affected zone). The top plate is also
fabricated in the same way as the base plate but the
thickness is 5mm. The top plate is then fixed the the
base assembly by counter sunk Allen bolts.

with a 1 HP AmpFlow motor and an epicyclic
