GENERAL INFORMATION ‘INTRODUCTION This work plan procedure covers the sequence of activities for Site Fabrication and Erection of Piping system including pressure testing, flushing and reinstatement in Central Java 2 x 1000 MW Supercritical Coal Fired Power Project, Indonesia, PURPOSE a. To describe all the activities to be performed in the site Pre-fabrication and Erection of Piping Systems, ensure that all works are properly planned and executed in accordance with all the requirements of the contract. b. To understand the scope of works/volume of the total erection with responsibility, ©. To plan and execute the Piping Pre-fabrication and Erection job in the professional way, 4d, To mobilize the proper heavy equipment, tools, consumables, and man power as required on time, ‘e. Forthesmooth execution of Piping Fabrication and installation in stipulated time with safety procedure and quality up to Owners satisfaction. f Tokeep the track on all activities and maintaining the proper records. SCOPE OF WORK ‘a. The Work Plan Procedure is to define Pre-fabrication and Erection of Piping works in Central -al Coal Fired Power Project by PT.JEL erection team. The work Java 2x1000 MW Supercriti line to be followed for the safe plan stated herewith is to ensure that there is a general gui installation at site. bb. This procedure shall be applied for Piping Pre-Fabrication and Erection work of generat ines in Central Java Project and related quality control performed at site. This process includes but not limited to preparation work, setting of scaffolding, installation of piping hangers, piping line-up, piping setting and welding. PT.JEL working crew shall correct any deviations found to the satisfaction of the Engineer / Supervisor. Do the erection as per approved construction drawing. Receive the Pipes from the client/vendor in a good condition. ¢ RESPONSIBILITY a. PTJEL Site Manager has overall responsibility for ensuring that all activities are performed in accordance with this procedure. PT.JEL Construction Manager is responsible for necessary evaluation, planning and preparation to enable the work to proceed smoothly. PTJEL Piping Engineer shell be responsible to ensure that the planning, site preparation, evaluation and constructions carried outin a manner that supports safe working. PT.JEL Piping Supervisor is responsible for implementation and controlling the field works and ensures that the work is effectively and safely carried out. PT.JEL Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the established safety procedure, PTJEL QA/QC Engineer/ Supervisor shall be responsible to monitor and inspect the erection ensuring itis being done in compliance with this procedure, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan), Tolerance List, drawing, project specification and other reference standard document and procedures. PTJEL Foreman is responsible for the direct control of workman and ensures that all works are performed in accordance with the Supervisor's instruction. Cutting of pipes, fittings and edge preparation according to the drawing, To cut the pipe spools, use suitable cutting disk for carbon steel and stainless steel materials. Based on spool breakdown of piping isometrics, pipe length shall be cut. Excess pipe materials shall be properly mark and stored in suitable manner to preclude mixing with other different material. A standard pipe bevel angle for welding 1s 37.5 degrees. For all socket weld joints the pipe end shall be gap between male and female component shall be maximum of 3 mm. and minimum of 1 mm. Temporary Storage and Color Code. «All the fabricated Spools to be segregated by Isometric Drawing Number and system wise. © Keep the fabricated spool ends always in closed condition to protect damages and avoid entry of foreign materials. © In case of temporary storage after prefabrication, it is recommended to use color coding to identify each unit piping for both boiler and turbine area.
