PINES ONLINE TRIAL CLASS REPORT

Name of Student: Minh Nhat

Date of Trial Class: November 21,2018

Time of Trial Class: 21:00-21:30

Dear Nhat,

Greetings!

Thank you for having the trial class with me. I hope you had fun learning. The class went smoothly
because of your willingness to learn and your great cooperation. I am writing you the report to fully
understand and know your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to English.

Here are the good points that I have observed during our class. When it comes to grammar, you need to
know when to use the pronouns like I and me. You express your ideas and point of views in a clear
manner even if the grammar is not that perfect. As a teacher I had fun listening to your favourite sports,
I sensed your determination in learning the language.

On the other hand, here are the things that you need to work on for you to improve more. You could
still learn more vocabularies in order for you to express more yourself in a fluent way. Hence, I’m
suggesting you to gather more new words and use appropriate vocabularies in explaining yourself. You
can enhance more your reading speed by learning first the meanings and pronunciation of the word.
After doing that you can read the whole passage for the second time. For your pronunciation all I can
say is we need to exert more effort in this particular skill. You know the words but sometimes I can’t
fully understand it because of how you pronounced the words. I do believe that everything is learned if
you have the drive-in learning. I’m still rooting for you. The best is coming for you. Thank you.

Here are some of the corrections you need to review: (pronunciation and sentences)

Grammar Lapses:

You said - My hobbies playing football and soccer. Better say - My hobbies are playing football and
soccer.
You said - I favourite sport play volleyball Better say - My favourite sport is playing
volleyball.
You said - They help me. Better say - They always help me.

You said - I go to the toilet. Better say - I went to the toilet.
