National Competition for Innovations in. Computational Physics
(NCICP - 2019)
NCICP 2019 will be held at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh in Oct 2019 IAPT CONVENTION
This competition is open to teachers at all levels Schoo! level, UG, PG level. The participant can be even an MPhil. /
pry amerded / pursuing student ora scientist rom regional national laboratory ora science community ‘working in
ctonce canters, etc, He / She need not be an IAPT member. Nowadays Computers pay a bid role “Teaching
Learning Process’ and they are used for carrying out vitual experiments, simulations, analysis ‘of experimental results,
acquisition of data, etc. Computers also find applications in numerical computations, data anaes solving complex
muvercal problems in Physics, erative calculations and oon. Aphysis teacher can use graphical presentations (ike
entation cf cyclone with time and such phenomena) for enhancing the understanding ofthe subject 25 well as
improving imagination skis of the students. [APT therefore provides a platform tothe physics teachers to show their
pevrnte, cule in computational physics and development of experiments by conducting such type of competitions at
National level. INNOVATION is the main theme.
“The following kinds of experiments are included in the competition:
4, Computational Mathematical modeling type purely software based.
2. Sensors /Actuators interfaced with Microprocessors /PC
3, ANDROIDIAUDRINO/PIDIPIC based experiments /applications.
‘The presentation / work should be an orignal one developed by the participant himsel/ herself. It can even be a
demonstration. Invited entries for ‘demonstration will be paid travelling expenses for coming to convention venue
