2. Read your notes, decide if you agree or disagree with his position, and record a
video expressing your opinion.

A fascinating and surprising book that has aroused the unanimous praise
of the public and critics and that has been on the best-seller list of the
New York Times for more than 6 months.

And it is that as Malcolm Gladwell did, Daniel Pink manages to bring to

the great public concepts until now only within the reach of a few.

A book about our human nature, our behavior and, most especially,
about what is what stimulates us to do what we do.
It teaches us that what we really crave as individuals is the freedom to
decide our goals, to learn continuously and to be able
to achieve goals that go to posterity. Autonomy,
excellence and survival, the three new pillars of
motivation.

For Daniel Pink offering rewards for work done or results is

counterproductive in those jobs where creativity is
essential (many in today's companies). He offers many
studies that support his thesis. For him, this type of
extrinsic motivation is effective when the work is
repetitive, boring and it is very clear what has to be
done.
