KALIBNUSAN CHORALE Philippine Normal University North Luzon Alicia, Isabela 3306
Kalibnusan chorale is a group composed of non-singers from the premises of Philippine
Normal University North Luzon in Alicia, Province of Isabela. The members of the group came from the different provinces and municipalities of northern Luzon, namely from Quirino, Kalinga, Abra, Baguio City and Isabela. There is a diversity in terms of culture, traditions, practices, and behaviors within the group. Yet, they were united to sing inside their soul. Their purpose is not just to sing, but also to inspire as well as to teach the community on how choral music is. Hence, this made the Kalibnusan chorale ignited along the years. Starting from 1991 up to the present day, Kalibnusan chorale has been singing in different events, some of which are commendable performance in the National Choral Competition of Manila Broadcasting Company Choral Competition. Also, through the initiative of the Isabela Provincial Government, the Kalibnusan Chorale gave Intramuros, Manila a very exemplary per- formance showcasing the Isabela culture thereby promoting tourism during the WOW Philippine Pagayaya Cagayan Valley. Like the other chorale groups, Kalibnusan wants to inspire others, teach the community, share happiness, and learn from them. It wants to show the whole world that there are no barriers in diversities and that the noblest art is that of making others happy (P.T. BARNUM). May the group be blissful in count of the future generation.
