Sampling
In order for development of a questionnaire to be filled by 100 people the following was studied.
Population:
Demographics:
Age: 18-45
Gender: Female
Class: Upper middle and middle class
Education: Students, Working women, housewives,
Psychographics:
Lifestyles: Have a social life, are out and about and have a settle need to look presentable and are around
brand conscious people.
Activities: going to work, Kitty parties, Event launches, going to university, trying out new restaurants,
picking kids from school, Parent teacher meetings, weekly hangout with friends, movie plans, shopping.
Personality: Fashion forward and fashion adaptors.
Our consumer is mostly brand loyal with a blend of target market that are experimenting with new brands.
They are prone to buy fast fashion with good innovative designs and satisfactory quality. Since our age
bracket is extremely wide as it includes both pret and unstitched consumer empathises is new silhouettes
and as well good quality is very essential to keep the customer coming in.

Sampling techniques:
The two main types of sampling are probability sampling and non-probability sampling. The method we
choose to select the sample population is a combination of elements from both the sampling methods.
Probability sampling
We would conduct from one group of cluster sampling as we have a large age bracket and we are likely to
capture a larger audience of women. The group will be based on gender and age; that is female and age
wise it’ll be divided in subcategories in cluster sampling.

18-20
22-26
26-30
30-45
Non probilty
Convience sampling classfellows and family as they buy sapphire
Area sampling within that Quota sampling and stratified random sampling will also be done. As it would
be divided interms of areas
30% DHA
30% Gulberg
20% Johar town
20% other

Snowball sampling as we are targeting females and our age group is very diverse. As this would have an
easy access to all types of audience. Due to the survey being shared online and all types of women will
respond.
