Men and women, because of their inherent differences are not equally suited for many tasks

As a renowned adage goes If you educate a man you only educate him, but if you educate a
woman you educate the whole family. The difference between men and women in terms of their
work, self-respect, rights, etc are not inherent they are made by humans.

In earlier days, there had been a lot of discrepancy between men and women. Men were always
considered superior and women were deprived of their rights, self-respect. It was considered that
only a man can work and earn for his family and women must not step out for earning. A
woman's responsibility was to take care of the family and do the house chores. She was not
allowed to even educate herself. This was the main reason for the growing differences. In terms
of the physical differences, men are considered stronger as they have muscular bodies and can
lift heavier weights and work in adverse conditions where women are not considered to work
such as mines. While a woman's body is sculpted in a much delicate manner. Women have their
monthly menstrual cycles which can make them a little irresolute sometimes, also only a woman
can carry the baby in her womb for 9 months. These are the physical diversity that can make
them not equally suited for many tasks.

Whereas now women are equally educated, self-dependent and are on par with men in all
aspects. Be it any arena, women have proved themselves time and again that they are no less
than men. For instance, Cricket was considered a male sport but an Indian team captain Mithali
Raj has shown that cricket is not only meant for men. Another instance where Geetha Phogat and
Babita Phogat won the Olympic athlete medals in wrestling, Indira Gandhi as a former Prime
Minister of India, Kalpana Chawla, Sunita Williams being the lady astronauts are all excellent
examples that men and women are equal in all aspects. In another way, even men have extended
their perspective and have ameliorated themselves in different fields. Earlier cooking was
considered women's job but now the master chef Gordon Ramsay, Thomas Keller, etc are among
the world's best chefs. Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi Mukherji, Giorgio Armani are among the
best fashion designers.

I would like to compendium that men and women are equally suited for almost everything. Each
of them has proved themselves that they are equally capable of achieving their desired
obligations. Though their physical bodies aren't the same and will always have certain
differences that are imminent.
