DUTY DIARY

Day 1 Date: April 3, 2019 No. of Hours: 8 Hours

Time: 8:00-5:00 PM

Activities and Duties (What am I doing today?):

This day is actually my first day in this company I really don’t know yet about this company I felt so
nervous and slightly excited at the same time. I’m with my friends who are also part of the ideal
builders. We are so surprised that we are the only people in the office because we’re too early and few
minutes later the employees of the ideal builders are keep coming in the door. I’ve never thought that
the company we applied for were so very busy that they almost forgot that they have an OJT trainees,
wherever I looked they always holding their phones and it is like their phone is already built in on their
ears. Around 9:00 I think they already noticed us and they let us watch a video clip that is related to god
and work and after that we had our orientation and it shocked me because their company was very
strict it’s like a never ending violations. We keep waiting after we finished the orientation an later on we
had the tour in the company where the cutting and bending of rebars and other metal works was made
there and we’ve never thought that the boss of the company was actually living there he has his own
room there to sleep. The HR told us what we need to do tomorrow and how to keep in touch of our
attendance and they’re strict also when it comes to tardiness you can’t enter the company if you’re
fifteen minutes late.

Reflection (What ive learned today?)

This would be interesting because they said the boss was not easy to deal with and ive learned that
wherever I go there’s no an easy way when you’re in a company I have to keep striving in order to
finished my duties and lastly patience because all of the employees there was so very busy that it is very
hard to approach to because they also have their own task or obligation to finish before tha deadline.
